Any merchant navy lot around?

Evenin' all,

If there's any merchant navy officers around on here, I'd like to pick your brains!

I'm about to finish my training as an engineer, coneted my training on Cape size bulkers.
I'm now jobless as my company is a tonnage tax company affair.
I'm looking to break into the oil tanker sector. Though this is proving difficult without a DCE.

With regards to a CV, how much info should I go into as to my seagoing experience?
Any other advice is welcome!
