Anyone know what this button does? Every so often my windows will wind up of their own accord and refuse to wind down again until I open and close the drivers door. When it happens this button flashes.

I that case something is most definitely wrong as it seems to just randomly operate without me touching it. Sometimes after just a few minutes driving, sometimes it's fine for days.

I will start consulting the wiring diagram, oh joy!

Seems like the car is locking itself (windows up, button starts flashing). If you unlock it and don't open any doors it will lock again (like all cars these days), so if it does it after a couple of mins it might be that the alarm hasn't registered that you opened the door. Do the courtesy lights always come on when you open the door? If not, could be a dodgey reed switch/wiring.

That's a very valid point. Will check that. I hardly ever use it at night so not at all sure if the lights come on or not. Symptoms certainly seem to fit.

Mine doesn't relock, but the 'is the door closed' magnetic switch has caused me issues before.
