Afternoon all,

I've just run a calculator to figure out spoke lengths for some new wheels I'm about to build (Hope Pro 4 hubs and Pacenti TL28 650b rims) and it's given me spoke lengths of 273.1mm and 274.4mm.

Am I right in thinking I'll be able to get away with building this out with 274mm spokes all round? It'll save me a small amount of cash to buy a 72 spoke pack of the same size, plus I won't have the hassle of having to remember which ones are for which side... smile

274 will be fine. Cheapest place for spokes I've found is Rose Bikes, even with postage from Germany they are cheaper than UK suppliers.

Cheers.

I found (and it took quite a bit of finding!) that cyclebasket.com are best, especially if you're looking at complete wheel builds. I've just ordered 64 ACI Alpina Black DB Spokes - which I've previously used for a 26" build with absolutely no problems - for £31.60 including next day delivery. smile

Not a bad price, a bit dearer the DT Swiss DB from Rose, but the delivery is much quicker.
