Anybody looking at this one be wary. It looks similar to one bought in NI with c.93k on the clock. It then appeared on ebay with 86k on the clock, then three weeks later reappeared with 77k on the clock.

It looks the same car as the front bumper trims have been sprayed blue as per the clocked one . Also, another tell tale sign will be under the bonnet. the clocked Irish one was originally Carbon black and then resprayed Estoril by BMW apparently however, the engine bay was left untouched and as such, the clocked one has a black engine bay. (my browser is only showing the first pic so I cannot see if there are any engine bay shots)

So be wary potential buyers.

Engine bay is black....

This is very worrying really, should the auctioneers not be advised of this?

Andy

I'd hedge my bets it is the same clocked car.

Yes, I suppose they should. Problem is there is no hard evidence to suggests it clocked. Just a few anonymous people observing, acknowledging and commenting on forums without any Registration quotes or pictures.

Result.

The car was taken to BMW by ACA. BMW confirmed that there was mileage discrepencies between the various modules. ACA have now removed it from there auction.

Glad I put the effort in and was happy to find that ACA cared more for the integrity of the cars they sell to the public than the income that the sale will have generated. They even went out of their way to ensure my claims were correct.

Robert (ACA) if you're reading, well done sir. you have my respect.

Top job and good work.

And respect to ACA as you say for caring about reputation and of course integrity of the cars sold.

You've stopped someone from paying too much for a car with a suspicious history.
