Any other "Club des Cingles"?
Discussion
Mont Ventoux has this club for riders who have climbed the three ascents to the summit in a day. To join officially you have to pay, which gets a brevet card you need to have stamped and some kind of plate to attach to your bike. Are there any climbs that have anything similar? I'm trying to think of mountains that have more than 2 routes up that don't get muddled with ascents of other mountains close by.
It strikes me as a stepping stone to an Everesting attempt, something a fit cyclist/good climber could do without training for 6 months, and not requiring 18+ hours of continual riding.

Tried this last month, did the climb from Malacene then Bedioun but 40 mph wind, rain, no feeling in fingers for first 10k of descent meant we didn't do the Sault (the easy one!) climb. Its a hard slog, 60+ kms of climbing but doable. Got to think about how much to eat and drink all the time.
