If the 4.3l is a pre-serp, might be worth getting in touch with Engineer1949 (fairly sure it was him?), as IIRC he worked with one of the companies to get a pre-serp kit sorted...
If it's a serp engine, then would have thought the standard off-the-shelf kit for the 4.6l would be your best option..?

Bear in mind that while you can just bolt on the kit etc, you may need to allow possibly substantial extra budget for possible substantial additional costs.
The condition of your engine may be part of this, the addition of an after market ECU may be another part, and so on.
Research it properly, talk to people who have been there like Macdeb, Engineer 1949, Kate V8, Richard858 etc.
All really nice friendly people, who will be keen to help you understand the full risks and rewards.

As QBee says I'm quite happy to share my experience if wanted but can only comment on modifying a serp engine, just drop me a line. I've installed an SC package at home, a mate nearby has recently installed one of Eann's kits to his 400 and another friend designed and put together his own turbo system for his 450 so between us we have built up a reasonable library of knowledge.
If you want the ultimate outcome you really need to listen to Macdeb, his results are astonishing (and not just the mechanicals!).
Good luck with whatever you decide to do, but be warned it WILL be more expensive than you anticipate if you want to do it properly, whether that is all at the beginning, in the middle or right at the end (when you least expect it!).

Yes, because if he does not fully rebuild the engine before fitting any form of forced induction, the engine will only last a short time. 
Not sure that's really the case (if so, I'm on borrowed time) - for sure, big pressures will find out the weak spots PDQ but creep boost up slowly, refining the tune as you go, and no reason why issues cannot be addressed as they appear.
If it is a pre-serp engine, only concern I would have would be the piston strength and their ability to resist any detonation; think the skirt design is less than ideal for FI but shouldn't be an issue at lowish pressures with intercooling (eg sub 7psi, say).
Daft as it might sound, you don't need massive boost on these engines to get a real gain, just filling in the usual in-plenum depression makes them sing - Rovers love a bit of boost

The early slotted skirt pistons don't like a lot of boost but that said, even 5 psi makes a huge difference in torque :-). If you get any detonation the skirts can detach from the crowns. All the RV8's can use low boost without any internal mods just as long as they are treated with respect and some mechanical empathy.

You mention Dom building the engine for you, and I vaguely remember you having engine woes some time after the original supercharging. 
I also remember a similar thing happening to Richard858.
I do remember hearing that both of you are very pleased with your cars now, and Richard is of course thrashing his to within an inch of its life on the sprint courses.
However, I was just wondering if the two things were connected in either case, and if we can give the OP some useful guidance if they were?
He may find it instructive if he thinks the cost would be, say £3,000 to £4,000, only to find it is, say, £8,000. (numbers purely my imagination to illustrate the issue)
Of course the engine work may have been totally unconnected in either case, but other comments above allude to FI needing a very sound engine at all but relatively low levels of boost. Be useful to learn from your experience.
