After a 'difficult' first year the Emotional Engineering Team is looking forward
to a fresh start for the '05 season. The all new look and line-up will be
unveiled at the launch of the new car on March 11th.

"We are in a much better position this season, so far everything has slotted
into place earlier than last year, we've retained the support of our sponsors
from last season, we've signed two awesome drivers and we've obtained the
services of one of the best race engineers around."
"I feel we have in place the sound platform which the team lacked last year, I
am feeling really positive as we approach the start of the new season, the car
will be ready to test by the time of the unveiling, four weeks ahead of the
first race which means we have time to get in some meaningful testing, something
we never managed last season."

Allen Orchard.

All will be revealed on the teams website www.ee-sport.com on March14th, along
with '05 race dates, the teams new technical partner for Monaro performance
components, and further news of the teams plans for the season.

I would like to wish all the best to Allen & the E-E Team, look forward to seeing the car in action.
Rob Apsey,

GO MONARO !

G’Day Monaro Maniacs,

Allan Davies of WRC Technology at Silverstone has contacted me to ask if anyone would be interested in seeing the New 2005 Emotional Engineering Monaro in a shakedown on Tuesday 22nd March at Silverstone.

Allan Davies and the WRC Team will be working closely with E-E on the car this year to give them technical support.

Allen Orchard, owner of E-E will have the Transporter & Car at the WRC workshop on the Tuesday Afternoon. We have been invited to come along to see the car run during the test, have a chat with the team and get a few photos for the Club. Maybe even sit in the car for a picture.

WRC will have a photographer at the track Between 4 & 5 pm and would like to get a group shot of the racecar along with some of our member’s cars.

If anyone can make it to the track on Tuesday 22nd, please post your name on here so we can get an idea of the numbers.

Regards,
Rob Apsey

Hi Guys
WRC here. The car will be undergoing some "shakedown running" in the morning and when finished the car & transporter will then come over to our new facility just outside Bridge Corner at Silverstone for static display, photo opportunities etc.
It would be nice to have a group of owners and their cars parked around the race car, we can then get proffesional pics taken and a print for all.

We are located at Unit 41 & 42 Silverstone Business Park. Silverstone GP Circuit NN12 8TN

Myself or Chris Davies our Technical Director look forward to meeting you all.

Regards

Allan McKee

Slight confusion?

Non static action at EE & static action at WRC/Silverstone?

So are we invited to see the Monaro in action or just at Silverstone?

OK, might go, but take half the day off... Start early on Tuesday's so might be able to get out of here by 1. Only have a month and a half to go here before contract is up, and I am free again, so trying to save as much money as I can.

Went for a drive last night up to London to pick a mate's sister up... what a nightmare that place is to drive around. Slight panic when the Laptop shutdown and we were lost without any idea of where we were. Co-Navigator Pia (Swedish girl that I think you guys meet) was also micro sleeping. On the way back had the M4 closed, and the only way we could get outselves out of the place was to watch where the planes were headed, and drive in that direction. Then to top it off, had fun when we got to the A3 the entry was also closed. Took us 6 hours to do the round trip.
