Pah. Its a copy of a previous web-site - I think some Dutch bloke did one.
Anyone donating to such a site is a fool. The bunny with be eaten or not. Whilst such sites are not illegal they are clearly in poor taste...
Jeez. $16,000! Fools and their money are easily parted.
Perhaps Tesco should start a site saying "Save These Chickens".

Anyone like to donate some money so I can fulfill my dream-or I could set up my own auction 'Eat the Bunny'

Not worth it IMO. not much meat on a bunny and tough as ol' boots - all that running away from the foxes and country folk training their kids on air rifles you see.
Suppose that they'll be getting a bit fitter and rarer over the next few years though...

My mate & I used to catch rabbits with his ferrets. We would sell the ones without mixy to the old ladies on the local estate for 50p a go. We could always sell whatever we caught & farmers were ok with doing it on their land.
We lived on a small holding when I was a kid. We were self-sufficient in veg and my Dad bred bunnies for the pot. We used to play with them as pets and give them names and would discuss at the dinner table which one we were eating. The skins were cured to make linings for our gloves and collars.
Sounds totally barbaric now - but it seemed so perfectly normal 40 years ago.
BTW - did you know that the best method of curing an animal skin is to use manure. Mmmmm - leather trim in your new car!!!!1
