Further to Pwigs earlier posting.

Need to change the belts on my 156. Anyone aware of a cheap(ish) Alfa/Italian car specialist in the West Yorkshire area ?

Many thanks. PS, how much should this cost ? Car has 85,000 on the clock by the way.

Wyn Lear is your man in Keighley.
Absolutely fantastic chap. All he does is Alfas, and has done since the 1960s.

He charges about £400 for a proper cambelt change including all the bits and bats.

Can't recommend him enough.

Having just moved to Leeds from down south and having an Alfa or two to look after also appreciate the recommendation.

And if anyone needs a good specialist north of London then I can recommend David Thomas Garages who looked after me since 1997.

You're welcome!!

If you do visit Wyn, you will wonder where the hell you are going - cobbled back alley into a cobbled street, but believe it or not, that used to be the West Yorkshire main dealer until the early 1970's!

Just shows that fancy windows and potted plants don't make up for top quality service.

(Except for where Pwig works of course )
