Whatever happened to blue dots????

Following on from Streetcops Modified cars thread:

You used to see these now and again, (70's) and as a Kid I always though they were quite cool!

(Blues dots were a blue light you could put in the centre of the read rear lights that so that the light looked purple from a distance.)

I think the idea was to see how long you could drive around without getting pulled
