Black BBS CH-R alloys for 996 Turbo????

Speculative question here, i am not really a modifying my car type person, but on my recent trip to JZM for my turbo's service noticed a Lapis blue 996 in their showroom with these rather splendid looking alloys. I have been searching the net and not found them apart from on ebay, for £1500 a set. Does anyone know a decent place that stock them for the 996 turbo and do they just bolt on, no need for spacers etc. What sizes would fit the turbo and retain standard sizes / and tyres.

I like the CH-Rs on a turbo. Standard turbo wheel fitments are:

Front - 8.5J x 18" ET50
Rear - 11J x 18" ET45

I personally would add spacers if you got them on original spec, just to fill the arches a bit more but no so to rub on the arches. I'd go around 10mm rear and 5-7mm on the front.

If you find a set with different offsets, remember you can't increase an offset with a spacer, only reduce it.

Red Baron on here has a lovely GR turbo with standard turbo twists on, fitted with spacers and it looks the dogs......

I knew CH-R's looked great on the 997 turbo, but seeing them on the 996 turbo really set me thinking...



I don't like the flat face of the LM's - the E88's look better, but I understand they're not strictly 'approved' for road use. Gold on silver sort of harks back to the 993 Gt2.





Reckon the CH-R's moderninse the look, whereas the LMs or E88s hark back to a classic look. A 996 could go either way IMHO.

Now you mention this, I'm sure I'd read somewhere else that 19s were not advised for the 996. Shame, although that's probably saved me squandering another four figure sum on the car. For now at least.
