does anyone know what can make the headlights flash, wipers move when indicators switched on, also indicators stop when foot brake used,,,any ideas, its driving me mad, it seems i still in the club when i leave with everything flashing

Generally bad earthing somewhere.

Think you need to check youre earth connections.
My indicator light flashed and the drivers side main beam flickered/and my Fuel gauge would go up and down (not todo with 20mpg)this was due to a bolt coming loose that held a few earth wires under it.
This bolt is situated under the Rad and is accessed from the front through the Grill.
I couldnt get a socket on the bolt as the rad/grp was in the way,so in the end i cut a slot throght the grp so i could just get an open ended spanner on the bolt enogh to do it up.
Otherwise there is enother Earth connection near the steering rake and two more under the interior Centre console.
