Does anyone have any experience of this. Main dealer told me I get one years warranty on used car purchase and if I have it serviced by main dealer then I get another year extra free - the car in on a 7year service plan so in essence it's a two year warranty.

Does anyone have any experience of the 1+1 and is the cover the same for both years??

Cheers

Surely if the car is Ferrari Approved it gets two years effectively the same as new car warranty - the one slight query is if there remains original new warranty

That's what I thought but they described it as 1+1. I will see if anyone else knows.

My last couple of used main dealer purchases have been quoted as technically 1+1. The warranty forms do split separately with annual dates. It is my understanding that the warranty needs to undergo a Ferrari pre-check before being authorised by the Factory (being factory, not insurance underwritten). Obviously your pre-check is done before used purchase by the dealer. If next service done by main dealer, then that qualifies as additional year warranty pre-check. If for some reason you didn't want to have your car serviced by dealer when under warranty then you would need to take it to a main dealer to have the full pre-check done for the warranty to be renewed for the second year.
(Having said all that, when registered with Ferrari online, it does show my vehicle warranty expiration as 2 years from purchase.....)

Edit - Cover is identical over the 2 years
