I am considering having my soon to arrive VV12SR covered in PPF and am considering AutoFXX via Aston and Paintshield. PS seems to have far more history and great reviews, but AFXX can work on the car at Newport Pagnell and are about 40% less than Paintshield when transport costs considered. Both can use Suntek film, generally seen as the best, but AFXX warned me that in his experience the film has lifted on several cars, whereas Xpel has much stronger adhesive. I need to decide very soon if I'm having it PPF'd and if so by whom. Any thoughts? Thanks

PM MikeyK. He is on here and the McLaren forum. I know he has had some issues but not sure exactly what.

Do you mean AutoFX? I saw first hand that Suntek had lifted on the edge of an arch on a BMW and needs replacing.

From all accounts the XPEL has a much stronger adhesive than Suntek and why XPEL offer a ten year guarantee and Suntek only 5.

Had the front of my RS covered in XPEL by AutoFX and am very happy with the result.

Thanks guys. Yes it is AutoFX that mentioned Suntek lifting - bit of a worry given the cost of applying it in the first place!
