BMW F30 M Sport
Discussion
Picked this up 2 days ago to replace my 2008 Audi, I decided to take the plunge and get myself an F30.
This one came up and I just had to have it
Estoril Blue 318d M Sport with gloss black M Performance pack, heated nappa leather and 19inch Ispiri wheels.
Performance won't set your hair on fire but it does go rather well in Sport and Sport+ mode. Plan to get a little map anyway to make things more interesting.
Firstly, my old Audi.

Think they look nice apart from the reg plates. I can see that you like show very much more than the go lol..
It's a NI thing! Not sure why but in rural areas you'll see loads of A5s / 3 seriees that look lovely and are generally two litre diesels - with metro plates! I think it's possibly a mix of looks vs economy as there's a fair bit of driving out there. Not a negative, OP! (Unless you had '35i tips...!)

You are quite right I do lots of commuting for work and these 2.0 diesels are perfect for that Not a negative, OP! (Unless you had '35i tips...!)

Looks gorgeous (apart from the plate- sorry) if I was ever in need of a mile munching daily and could afford it I'd certainly have one, or a GTD. My other half has a 320d msport and it's fantastic, smooth, refined, OK handling and 43+ mpg despite cruising north of 70 regularly.
I don't agree that cars that are frugal or have a boring engine shouldn't look good- does a 335i etc need a spoiler and rear diffuser? No, so why can't something like this look sporty and make your day that little bit nicer.

Since when has an M Sport been a base model?
I wasn't specifically talking about your car. Your F30 is nice.I'm not a fan of the 'sheep in wolves clothing' trend in NI though. Low power Diesel Golf/Leon/Astra/Jetta/Fiesta's dressed up like racing cars.
It's a smart looking car anyway OP, not to my taste as such but you clearly love it! That's all that matters
