It has been trying to snow but not laying so thought "what the heck" day off and all that, MUST get him out for a run (9 day withdrawal symptoms). All was fine, sunny and roads now dry. 25 miles into my jaunt i come along nice straight B road, drop into 3rd gear, pop up to 70 to overtake and wallop the back end starts sliding all over the place. Luckily I managed to get him back under control, reckon I must have hit some grit or something on the road. My knees were like jelly after that! continued for a further 35 miles and then thought it was time to clean him instead.
My baby tried to bite me when I least expected it!!

I had similar today. Nice sunshine, dry roads but slipping all over the place.
Should have taken more notice of the orange snowflake!
Yes, it was orange at 2pm. Normally only see orange and red at night!

I did the same earlier this year, on a dry road, before all this grit & salt stuff.

Was doing about the same speed as you, part throttle opening and the ar5e end goes, the thing is you correct it and it goes the other way really quickly. God knows how many times I caught it, must have been entertaining watching from the car behind

just found out why he was sliding all over the place. wonder man (who I live with) checked my new tyres, aaaargh 34 and 32 on the back!!!!(and 18 and 19 0n the front!!!) That teaches me a valuable lesson!!! I just assumed they were correct at time of fitting two weeks ago. Serves me right! Just lucky it didn't have more dire consquences.

Probably like having a cat wiggle its bum in your face to get attention.
