w220 transmission oil change.

I am going to soon be booking my s500 in for the auto transmission oil to be changed, its the earlier 5 speed box. Has anyone on here had this done? Could anyone give me a guide as to how much this will cost? Will be done at an independent, not main dealer.

I had mine done by Prestige Car Service near Portsmouth. I think I paid about £170 or so.

Do you know if it has a drain plug on the torque converter? The earlier boxes do, the later ones don't.
If it has one, it makes changing the ATF much easier. If it doesn't, you won't get all the ATF out without disconnecting the cooling pipes and draining it that way.
