Hi,

I'm looking for somewhere that re-furbs french Zenith carbs. Both are from Citroen HY Vans and both are flooding. I've cleaning and adjusted them but no luck.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Why not buy a repair kit and do it yourself?

Flooding carb's is simple problem to fix; either a punctured float or a blocked needle valve!

Thanks for the advice. There isn't a repair kit for the Zenith carbs. At least not the french ones. I've found the kits for the Solex but that's it. I'm waiting for a reply to the other link but the advice on the Zenith carbs is that they only do the English ones.

IIRC the Achilles' heel of the Zenith carbs is the diaphragm - they get pinholes in them which would cause the problem you're having.
