Sounds like a way of generating lots of spam to Veuve-Cliquot to me.

Done it, doesn't work. The Veuve-Cliquot address just sends it back or you get an automated response saying it doesn't exsist.

If someone sends you an unsolicited email promising you something free, its not true.

It's textbook viral marketing. Once the spam has filtered to a few million homes, the uninitiated will wonder what Veuve Cliquot tastes like and some will go an buy some.

Nah, I had an unsolicited email offering me loads of extra spam for free if I clicked on the .exe attachement, and that was true
