I took Caen/Portsmouth last Friday and waited one hour to get out of the port due to so few people on passport control, so be aware if you are using that route for the return.

Just another warning about this...it took us 2 hours to get past border control at 6am this morning.....presume added security for footy!

2 hour delay at Dover also. Missed first ferry and was lucky to catch next ferry with seconds to spare.
