Yet another year I can't make it over there, is there anyone else out there in the same position?
If so, what are your plans?
Me, got some chums coming round for beer, questionably cooked meat and watching a few vids of our past trips with Eurosport / Radio Le Mans on constantly for the 24 hours.

I can't make it because I stupidly got my wife stone roses tickets for Xmas and promised her a weekend in Manchester. I'm going to be one of those guys at the back of the gig trying to get updates from dsc on Twitter and look interested. Thankfully I'm driving back after the gig so I'll catch up with radio Le Mans on the route home. Hope I don't get too caught up in the mulsanne spirit whilst on the m62.

I can't make it because my mate who said he was up for going changed his mind (AGAIN, the ar$e)! I'll get back there again at some point. Last time I was there was 2008. Good year.

Will be watching on Eurosport, likely with Radio Le Mans commentary.

Because an yearly job went very wrong last year because I trusted a salesman who was clearly way out of his depth and I can't afford for it to go wrong again this year and as bloody luck would have it, it's bloody LM weekend.

So, I'm working frown

I'd already bought all the tickets when I remembered my wedding is that weekend so I can't go. If anyone wants to go in my place it's St Mary's church in Beaconsfield and her name's Alison.

Because i couldnt be arsed really.

Booked the tickets a few months back, and as time wore on i get less enthusiastic at the though of camping out there, then my dad had surgery early this week, the weather in france got a bit wet etc... And i decided i'd be happier just watching the race from home and enjoying my comfy bed in between.

I do plan on going in the future, but my state of mind just isnt right right now, too much st going on to look forward to the idea of spending a few days in a muddy field in france.

Because of my 10 month old GSD pup & because I have no one to go with.

Also. My passport is out of date & I can't be arsed to renew it.

Because after going 18 times in the last 20 years I feel 'I've been there, done it, got the tee shirt'.
Going to watch it on Eurosport.

Because it's Father's Day this weekend and I promised myself that, as a single parent, when the two dates clash, I'd be with my kids rather than feeling ill from the after-effects of too much champagne, red wine, Guinness and Brie.

Because we alternate between the classic/24hr each year now. Been 18 times so will miss it anyway. Mates will be around this afternoon for beer/BBQ and autosport/radio Le Mans streaming. Setting up a couple of TVs and cleaning the BBQ next job.

Will watch the F1 race too but Bernie is an a$$ for deliberately putting the F1 race on the same weekend!

I might just remove the loo roll to make it a little more authentic http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/2.gif

Enjoy the weekend everyone!
