Michael Schumacher has admitted that he gives his children under £2 a week pocket money.
His children would have to save a long time even to afford to buy themselves some of their father's official merchandise.

good on him ![]()
Strange news try to make out that by teaching his kids the value of money and how it's "not automatic" it's suggested he's a bad father...
so you advocate giving your future children less money per week than it would cost them to buy a decent monthly car magazine?
riiiiight.
edit:
shirley a reasonable amount would be enough to encourage them to save a little, spend a little on sweet treats, maybe a magazine too? to perhaps encourage them into basic money management?

There again, his kids are 16 and 18.

....yes and strangely enough everyone knows about it. What ever happened to giving for the sake of giving?
Because most people 'give' to assuage guilt or court popularity. It's fashionable. Whenever there was a major disaster pre Michael Buerk 1984, did we all run about throwing money left right and centre? No. It's a modern phenomenon.

£2 a week, 4 weeks in a month, Evo costs £4, you'd have change.
Give him a break, it's not like he works in finance or anything.....
Cheers,

Or perhaps they'd just have a flutter on the squadron of pigs that have just flown past my window...
