gear lever gaitor

I have just replaced mine with a new one which was made for me. I have the 93 model so I have all 3 in the same gaitor ie hand brake (which is a seperate piece) door opener & gear lever. I had it made in the biscuit colour to contrast with the magnolia, and they did a very good job. I had to send my original gaitor away (although they have kept it for a template)and a sample of the biscuit colour which I snipped off the underside of the piece over the tunnel (as the old gaitor was magnolia)
Total cost was about £85.00 in the same vinyl as the old gaitor (they can do leather) and the colour match was perfect to the sample I sent - although the gaitor is slightly darker compared to the rest of the biscuit covered parts, as it has not yet faded with the sun etc as the sample was protected from the elements!
So, after I've waffled on, I can't yet give you the name or phone number as I'm at work so I will post it as soon as I get home, unless somebody out there can give it. (I think they are up north somewhere possibly Wigan?)

Nearer to you...
David Batty (The Garage) sorted out our gaitor. We opted to replace the Biscuit Ambla gaitor with a leather one. Colour match is fairly good - certainly not detrimental to the ambience of the car. Leather should prove longer lasting, we hope, as will the gaitor as David had it made up a little "looser" than the previous one and so it deforms less...
Can't remember how much it was as it was part of a "restoration" job which involved a big service, new clutch, various trim fixes, a new bonnet badge etc etc

My gear knob has come slightly loose. Its the leven one. How do I tighten it back up and get it straight (its slightly off centre now as I turned it clockwise to tighten it).
Threadjack reply: If I remember rightly its just a matter of lining it up so it screws down and tightens off in the right position. Just trial and error basically.

What he means is, there is a threaded sleeve bellow your nob,adjust that to suit.
