Hey folks

Can anyone recommend a nice place to stop and have a leisurely lunch between Bristol and Gatwick? Maybe a nice village with a good restaurant/pub?

Thanks

M4 to junction 10, then go to the Crooked Billet between Crowthorne and Wokingham? It's not really within a village but the food is good and its easy to cut down to the M3 afterwards: http://www.crookedbilletwokingham.co.uk/index.php

or Royal Oak in Paley Street: http://www.theroyaloakpaleystreet.com/menu

Or Hinds Head: http://www.hindsheadbray.com

This caters for increasing budgets in a similar area!!

Super job, thanks!

For a minute I thought I was doomed to M&S food on the M4 biggrin

If you are hungry and want lots of meat, I would recommend this place too: http://bluessmokehouse.com/bracknell/
