An annoying bit of rubber on the door of my TVR will not stay stuck to it - tried Evostick, Superglues etc and no joy as it contacts the rear hood when the door shits and the glue doesnt hold the rubber!

Was thinking of trying "no more nails" - anyone else recommend an invincible "bondy style" glue

god how dull is this topic on a Friday afternoon

Its a secret new addition. After passing a group of horseriders uou open the door whilst going along and the car sh*ts on the road....very slippery apparently!

Don't want to state the bleeding obvious but are the surfaces very clean, also slight scoring might help? Had the same problem with a rubber button to operate the door light switch. Tried several glues but it was down to the surface state on the door in the end.

Think I posted this one before elsewhere, B&Q do a two-part (like epoxy) polyurethane glue (IIRC) that I used to stick my seals (no seal/sea lion jokes please) back on the roof, and to fix where the velcro was peeling behind the door buttons - works very well (so far)

Some of the 'no more nails' type glues require a porus surface for it to harden properly (read the destructions before you buy). Epoxy resin type worked well for me.
