Jedburgh Clown(s)
Discussion
Just returned from a nice weekend down in in the Scottish borders, had a lovely day out on the bikes with the girlfriend on Saturday, did the 4 Abbeys route. All was going pretty well until we were cycling into Jedburgh. At that point some person in a Landcruiser decided he wanted to closely inspect me, my bike or something else. He was so close that his car was not over the white line and he was leaning across the car and used his left hand to indicate that he wished me to move to the left a bit more. Obviously a deliberate bit of intimidation which I think he's probably done previously considering how close he got. The girlfriend who was behind was shocked as she is just getting into the road bike, luckily he didn't get that close to her, she'd have probably fallen off and been seriously injured if that was the case.
No reg number remembered, we were both a bit surprised TBH. So if anyone from that area is reading, maybe you've had a close call with a Maroon coloured Landcruiser, well I hope you get his number and can get him reported to the Police. He's a danger to other road users.
And as for the bell end on the Red Honda motor bike, I hope your next s
t is a hedgehog! Maybe we were riding side by side which displeased you, but hey she was needing a bit of motivation as she was 50 miles in and had never ridden that far before. I'm so glad we passed you when you were speaking on your mobile phone at the petrol station in Hawick.
And I thought the other road users in the N/E of Scotland were
