Add a dash (or generous measure!) of Drambuie too...
Amaretto and Bailys also add to the flavour...
Best Hot Chocolate:
1.5 ounces bittersweet chocolate
1 cup of whole full fat milk
dash of vanilla
Chop up your chocolate.
Pour the milk into a saucepan, and heat gently over medium heat until the milk is steaming and beginning to bubble ever so slightly. Remove it from the heat before it comes to a full boil, and stir in the chocolate. Return it to the stove. Over low heat, whisk well until the chocolate's all melted. Stir in the vanilla extract, ladle or pour into a mug, add amaretto and/or baileys and enjoy.

mmm so if I melt a bar of cadburies and oor it into hot milk will that work? other than putting on 1/2 a stone will it taste ok
Oooh yeah! Better if you splash out on a good quality dark chocolate, like the 86% cocoa one from Lindt. You should only need a couple of ounces per mug. Chuck in a slug of brandy too... Yummy!
