Best exhaust for 997.1 GT3 RS....

I love my 997.1RS but at lower speeds its too quiet .....Id like to release more of the deep throated grumble and in general just like it to be louder . I don't really do subtle .

What are the various options for releasing more of that flat 6 symphony .

All advice/input/thoughts/suggestions welcomed

Have Haywood and Scott rear silencer box replacement pipes. In principle the same as the Sharkwerks pipes but at around 1/3 of the price, and very well made. Many people have agreed with me, it makes the car. Not suitable for track days though.

As described, basically removes the rear transverse silencer and connects directly to side boxes but still retains switchable exhaust, so no noise through town.... and gets a little weight off the rear end. Perfect.

Best = Akrapovic. No question. However they are not cheap! They do sound ok though

This all day long, highly recommended and massively better VFM than anything else

Get a bypass x pipe. Simple, easy fit, relatively cheap. Will add about 6 or 7 db and sound very nice ith some overun crackle too.

All the alternatives are basically bypass X pipes, it's just a question of who you pick. Typically a s/s X pipe is £1500 )Europe, Sharwerks etc, H&S do the same for a third of the price.
Akrapovics system is titanium and correspondingly more expensive

I have a Hayward & Scott bypass for sale (taken off my GT3RS) little use. I also have some RSS Oversize Ceramic Exhaust Tips 88mm (OEM size 81mm) to fit GT3RS/GT3 (997.1 & 997.2). Excellent condition, still in original packaging. Please pm me for details if you're interested?

Sharkwerks works great and gives exactly what you're looking for. We've sold lots and your reasons are why most people do the mod - to get more of the drama / event at much lower RPM.

Whilst there are many to choose from 'apparently' all doing the same job the Sharkwerks is considered one of the best with no resonance or fitment issues.

Stock available in the UK along with the lovely 88mm RS black ceramic coated tips which look so much better than the OE.

My advice - do it, as the look of delight on customers faces when they hear it for the first time is one you don't want to delay!

Thanks guys for your massively helpful replies . Id love an Akrapovic but Id needs to sell my kidneys to fund one . From all the various feedback I thing a bypass pipe may suffice ....... just looking to add to the drama of it all . Ill put some feelers out and keep you posted.
