As ever, around Goodwood and roads on the way there and leaving, don't forget the laser sites

Between the Fontwell Little Chef and the next roundabout is a prime target. Quiet roads and the temptation to give it some beans between roundabouts.

I was lucky to only get a speed numpty course.

Like fishing in a barrel.

Historically, have there been many accidents around the Goodwood Festival site?

In 15 years of going Fri/Sat/Sun I've never seen or heard of a single one.

Got stuck in traffic with a RX7, Mclaren MP12 and a few other nice cars, when the traffic finally thinned opened her up only to get caught out being first in the convoy, hopefully I scrubbed off enough speed for a speed awareness course frown

As above, if only I'd used Waze, didn't have a data connection today so had no live updates of hazards.

Just checking, are all the camera spots listed on Waze? If so I'll make sure to use it on Sunday!

Morning,
Nope, Mobile camera vans are not marked on the map permanently, If you report in the app that there is a speed camera, that goes to the map editor, so wouldn't warn anyone else in the area.

So Look out for "police > Visible" reports smile

Hope that helps smile

There was a camera van parked on the right just as you came into Petworth heading from Duncton this afternoon

Ironic, given today's incident.

I had Waze on and it didn't give you enough warning of that one. You'd have been nabbed as it shouted "speed trap" at you. biglaugh

This was very helpful, thank you! There was nothing on Waze on the journey down, I didn't see anything on the roads either but then I wasn't pushing on too hard. On the way home there were 3 reports, the first one was a van which was useless considering the amount of traffic. The other 2 reports had either moved on or been really hidden as I couldn't see them at all.

One thing I don't like about Waze is it doesn't tell you the speed for the road until you exceed it. Would be great to have it in one of the corners at all times.

I shall bring you some good news... search ##@debugspeed where you would search an address normally.

This works for a number of users, but agree its too late once you've exceeded it.
