The latest issue is due in the shops, but my local WHSmiths hasn't got it

It's not the sort of mag a general paper shop is going to stock, so anyone know where else I may get it?

I think (from a post in General Gassing) that it's got the new, lime green, stratos concept on the cover.

It does indeed have the new lime green stratos on the front - got mine from the local WHSmiths....

Got a nice article on the Val Saviore too, which is handy as I was just filling in my application form the day the magazine came out and even better it has a superb example of a (genuine) Dallara Icsunonove in there that makes mine (a replica) look like an airfix kit. Incidentally for those that are interested, last year we attempted to validate the claim about said example being the genuine chassis #1 but Dallara have lost all records of the cars (I mean everything - they only know about them because they are reasonably well documented). Would take the claim in the magazine then with a pinch of salt as no-one can prove it one way or another.

I found just that problem about 2 years ago. The only answer I have then is to subrcribe, or at least order a copy through your newsagent.

It's only recently that I started buying it again as I used to receive a complementary copy but I've never had a problem finding it.
WHSmith do still carry it so I would assume they've cut back on the number of copies they place on the shelves at each store in which case you either need to get in there early or petition the store to get more copies.

Autoitalia paid WH Smiths a stack of cash to guarantee stocking it - but I think that only covered railway stations and airports as a few friends have had trouble getting it at general Smiths stores.

Subscription is the easiest way of getting it. About £38.70 a year

Same here!...it has to be said that most `smiths have gone down the proverbial recently. This will be the third subscription I`ve signed up to in recent months, so I`m not surprised their recent results where cr*p.

I think "Track and Race Cars" and Auto Italia are the only ones I don't have on subscription now

Despite searching in my local branch of Smiths, and station and central London branches, for the last edition of Auto Italia I was forced to go to Borders on Oxford Street.

If I don't have any luck in WHSmith's tomorrow I may try to buy one off of the Auto Italia website.

Seems strange that you can buy just the current issue. Most publications will want you to take out a subscription.

Hurrah! WHSmiths came up trumps yesterday.
