Ordered goods online and paid using my credit card, subsequently the goods did not arrive and I was not impressed by the Company service in general. Cancelled the goods and Company accepted cancellation and promised my refund within ten working days. Deadline passed and several emails later still no refund.
Is this something I report to credit card provider only or involve other other parties?

Thanks for advise / comments.

Call the credit card company and initiate a chargeback. Funds will be back in your account 48 hours later, and it's up to the retailer to defend it, or not.

It will only take one phone call for you.

Thank you for advise, I have emailed the Company to advise them of third party involvement unless my money is in my account by the end of today. I will call the credit card company tonight if no refund comes through.
It's not a large amount of money involved, having said that I would not walk down the High Street and give a stranger £198. This is the cash sum involved, it's just annoying that somebody has pocketed my money and I see it as simple as a pickpocket at work.

Just to let you know, refunds are not an instant thing, it takes 2-3 days for a refund to appear on your debit/credit card account from when they process it. So, demanding it's in your account by the end of the day would be impossible if they haven't already done it.

Ask instead for proof of refund, such as a copy of the refund slip (if they use an offline terminal).

Thanks Dr, I have been fortunate to have never been in this situation before, so green as grass. I hope that my third party intervention may prompt some action on their part but I will wait until Wednesday evening before calling credit card company.
The Company have a great website, they sell wallpapers, patterns which come from Edwardian through to 1970s period. I wanted to purchase Art Deco inspired wallpaper and this Company seemed to fit my bill.
