foxguard f1-11 alarm question

Does anyone have a wiring diagram of the foxguard f1-11 alarm?

The alarm is fitted in my chimaera and is causing some problems. The thing is that i wish to remove the alarm in order to replace it with a decent alarm (insurance also a problem with current alarm).

The problem is that the new car alarm has to be installed using the same wires since the car alarm is basically wired into the loom.

The wiring diagram from the bible doesn't correspond with my car and it is proving very difficult to find out which wires are which.

Can somebody help me with a wiring diagram for the alarm?

I know where all the wires go but have you got the coloured loom or black loom?

What i meant to say was that the loom is black on the outside but of course the wires all have different colours.

(it was early)

I took some photo's of the connectors for the alarm.

As a matter of interest are you sure the problem is the alarm itself?
Because if it is a wiring problem which it could well be you will then have a new alarm with the same problem

The alarm itself functions however the immobilizer function (Fuel pump cut/off) doesn´t function anymore.

The thing is that the alarm has to be replaced because of the insurance.

So basically i don´t have a choice.

If the insurance company require a new alarm, they might want to see an installation certificate. Get in touch with Carl at CBI - he knows all the answers! He has a link on PH too- TVRUK?

I think you will find he is in Holland.

I have removed the information that Ivan supplied. I received an Email from or our own SHPUB Steve Heath that stated:-

“When doing the bibles, both TVR, the alarm manufacturers and several insurance companies stated that they took a very dim view of this”.

So rather that supply this type of information freely on a public forum, we'll keep it close to our chest as we do with the emergency entry methods.
