rad is leaking near top hose.Read a old thread about using a bmw v8 rad .Might give it a try .what do you think ...Thanks Mike

Hi Mike...Personally i would get the old one refurbished...It has to come out anyway and at least you know it will fit back in...Its not the easiest of jobs..Ideally the front spoiler needs to come off..Bonnet off...Allow around 4 hours from removal to re-fit...

Hi Mike,

I have just been through the same thing, and took the advice of Mr Zig and others (big thank you to them) and had mine repaired. The results was very good, although they forgot to plug the fan switch hole so did that bit myself. Price including vat 220.

Once you start replacing bits you just can't stop. New fan switch and housing will be fitted this week. New hoses fitted.

ditto. I've had both rads done recently on 350i and 390se. £220 with vat and both look great, fit back in and keep things much cooler.
