Collected my EVO friday just gone from scotland, 250 mile trip back home along some fine scotch b roads, a roads and then onto the m6. These pictures are the first pictures iv been able to take after giving it a wash yesterday!

Very clean for its age, the spec...

79k miles, 11 months MOT - no advisories.

TOAD CAT-1 Alarm

EVO5 Recaros and matching doorcards,
EVO5 Brembo calipers,discs and pads,
EVO5 OZ alloy wheels running Nankang NS2R rubber,

EVO6 Engine with HKS cams, HKS pulleys, HKS filter.
EVO8 Turbo,
Japspeed decat stainless exhaust system.

Coilovers with Tein camber adjustable top mounts,
CUSCO rear strut brace & 3 point front brace.

Greddy boost controller,turbo timer and EGT gauge.
Apexi boost gauge.

Mapped on a Motec M4 stand alone ecu to 304BHP @ the wheels so 380bhp @ the fly.

looking good. remember many years ago, a place not far from me used to bring them in ( Warrander in Bolton ). these, 22b's, skylines etc. always used to enjoy having a ride up to admire them. there was nothing else like them.

I bought a White IV from Warrander back in the early 00's. It had just come in from Japan, 30k mls, no underseal and totally standard. It was a very clean car.
I have owned and sold a VI and a VII since but that IV was my favourite.

Fantastic. It is such a shame to think that the glory days of these rally derived soorts saloons is are well gone now. The arms race between Mitsubishi and Subaru produced some amazing cars.

the Motec was mapped by russ @ HQ in scotland, very good reputation and it produced 306bhp @ the wheels on their dyno which is a great result!

A lovely car. I had a IV which from memory was running 330 BHP and it was still reasonably quick. With the newer block in there you don't have the crank walk issues and you're an MR turbo, some injectors and a remap away from 400 BHP.
