Do you now react differently after you see BiB?
Discussion
Not too many years ago, when I saw Our freinds the BiB it reminded me that they were about, and that I should be on my best behaviour at all times cos 'they' were everywhere.
These days if and when I see one cruising around, I tend to think "Well there goes the Traffic cop, he is probably the only one on duty tonight and he is going the other way, it's probably quite safe to hit the loud pedal for the rest of my journey
( I Obviously do not actually do this...it's just a thought)
I am not sure if I have started to think this because of what I hear here about the lack of traff Pol or because of my own experiences which seem to hold up recently.
I am up and down the M1 from MK to London constantly and I pass a cop car maybe once every two weeks (It would be great if I could tell if it was one of you guys on here, we need a 'are you a Ph'er? wave
..') And generally never see another one on my journey after that unless there is an incident somewhere.
on a side note....I saw 3 silver jobs with lights ablaze flanking a dirty 7.5 tonne truck with taillift etc down the M1 on wednesday, all four vehicles pulled off at J4 and made their way up the A41 with one cop car racing ahead and stopping traffic and one hanging back with 'KEEP BACK' lights to stop me from overtaking should I have been stupid enough to want to try
but the convoy was keeping pretty much within speed limits so it was obviously not an emergency situation. It was all quite wierd, anyone know what that was about..driver training?

Don't worry! I can't afford to be 'too' complacent as I am driving a legal car in my own name so I realise I have to keep a look out for vans/camera's in discrete locations.
If I was driving without all the necessaries though I wouldn't have to give a monkeys about anything but actual moving cop cars. I wouldn't care about camera's so long as I could avoid you

I mean.....I've waved at my mate in a cameravan, as I pass by.....if you then see me and think....I'm the only cop in the area....you'll miss the van...
For example.
He wouldn't be my mate if he was in a camaravan, I'd disown him!!
