Tempted by a rocky mountain altitude 799 msl

I've noticed a massive drop in the prices, what with the 2017 bikes coming in.

I'd wondered if there was a weight limit to carbon all mountain bikes, specifically the RM's as I cant find anything on Bikes.com..

I'm 17.5 stone and am working on losing the lard, but just a bit worried about rear triangle flex/ bar flex given my mass...?

Hefty bikes are known as Clydesdales, they are beefed up to cope with the bigger lads. A number of years ago I was doing a lot of mt biking and a mate of your kind of size was in the habit of snapping frames. He liked the jumps and was well over 6ft and hefty. I wouldn't worry about the pedalling forces, the frames are designed to flex under those loads, the ones that kill them are when 20st of bike and rider hits the deck from 4 ft and slams into a passing rock.

That's when you need a Clydesdale, so I'd have a chat at the shop. There's a weight penalty but at 17.5st you can probably push the pedals to make up foir that.
