Just after some advice with this please, as I'm too far from any TVR specialist to do it the easy way, what should I be expecting/demanding?

Should new screen be TVR stamped?
Should they be fitting new seals? in my opinion they are needed after 20 years on the car.
Is it really a day job that needs to be done "in house" rather than mobile?

Rather nervous after reading all the horror stories.

Thanks for any pointers.

Central Tvr recently replaced mine with one stamped with the Tvr logo,
I left the car there overnight to let it set and it's as good as gold.
Central have probably done hundreds of them wink

To be honest it's not a black art it's just a windscreen . I had my Tamora in for a full paint change earlier this year. I rang a mobile screen fitter they came and took my screen out. When the paint job was finished 5 weeks later they came back and refitted it with the old seals and it was perfect. It's just had a rain test in Le-Mans...no leaks

It'll be out again in the winter when I have the upholstery renewed . This time it'll be a new screen and seals

Will tell you tomorrow!! attempt number 3 at getting the correct screen. The 2 previous ones have been made by Safevue and have not fitted, hopefully the screen tomorrow will fit as the screen fitting company have ordered this one direct from TVR Spares. (Griffith)
