We met some amazing people, put faces to users and enjoyed a thoroughly entertaining day.
There's been a few threads with Burghley content that have all managed to acquire heartfelt thanks to Edwin and his team. It was an epic event that rivals anything we've attended before but without the commercial/profit aspect that is the usual motivator. I can only imagine the stress and work that must have ensued right up until the end.
You are a legend!

So lets hear it for Mr Cunningham and his team.

I think you have said it all. Who else could have got 600 Astons together and organised such a wonderful event. Congratulations to Ed and his happy band of helpers who made everything go so well. I hope that Ed's goals regarding raising monies for the charities was achieved.

He, Eleanor and the family are no doubt taking a few days in a dark room recovering from their inspiring efforts - just superb

The event was EPIC and he is indeed a LEGEND.

A fantastic day and without doubt one of the best events we have attended. A huge well done to Ed on achieving so much, bringing enjoyment to all that attended whilst raising so much money for the charities.

Simply a quite incredible feat. Herding cats, nailing jelly to a wall and plaiting fog would have been easier, but Ed chose something significantly more challenging and the results speak for themselves, if only for the charity aspect alone. Whilst the cars are the tangible stars, meeting forum people for the first time is often an absolute pleasure.

Congratulations Ed and the team on what was a an incredible achievement. Relax and take a holiday. Bravo.

It was my first Aston event and what a lovely weekend. RAF Wittering, alt he George dinner and Burghley House were all outstanding. I am sure it took a lot of time and effort. Yet you delivered the whole weekend with great humour and a smile.

Thank you so much.

It was a pleasure meeting so many of you.

Cheers
Ross

Let's not forget why Ed put the last year of his life into organising this,
One last rattle of the charity tin and Ed might let you all know what was raised

Go on have a go its easy: http://bit.ly/1Sga3cV ……….

Yup, only takes 2 minutes - what's half a tank of fuel for such a fantastic day?

Many, many thanks to Ed, Eleanor, Gav and all the other unsung names who made this memorable event happen.

Only problem we could really have done with two days to see everything and chat to everyone.......

If Carlesburg did car shows, they'd probably do the second best car show in the world.....

Well done to Ed & Co. for a truly stunning effort and EPIC car show. No one else could top that ... EVER!!!
