I thought I'd create a post in here as some of you hopefully will know the answer to this
Daughter passed her test, bought a second hand Mk4 Golf. (1.4 petrol)
noticed the horn wasn't working so I checked and it was unplugged.
plugged in horn, ignition on and it tested ok
went for a drive down the road when suddenly horn came on and stayed on! and this was without pressing it.
reached under and unplugged horn as driving along with the horn on is apparently unsociable biggrin

she came back again today and we thought we'd have another look at what could be causing it, reconnected horn, ignition on and all ok, horn beeps when pressed...then 2 hrs later my phone rings " fking horn is on again" fortunately I'd shown daughter how to unplug it

Could it be the relay causing this? or a faulty wiring loom?

any help would be much appreciated.
