Hi

Regarding Holiday.

Member of Staff is contracted to do 22.5 hours per week over 3 days.
The workload currently though requires them to do additional hours on a Monday and Friday (They are happy to do this).

So they are currently working around 32.5 hours per week.

Do we have to give holiday entitlement for the extra 10 hours ?

Thanks

What (if anything) does their contract say about how holidays are accrued/based on? I.e. do they accrue based on the number of whole days worked, or number of hours? If they have something in writing that says they earn holidays based on recorded hours worked then yes, you do owe them extra holiday entitlement. Otherwise no, there is no legal requirement. It sounds as if this is a temporary arrangement anyway? Are they being paid overtime for the extra hours?

Yeah paid.
Seems advice is to run it on a 12 week period and allocate holiday for the extra hours as appropriate

I think you have to give them the additional holiday.
