I'm after a neat mobile phone holder to hold my sony z5 on my road bike bars. It needs to be slightly stretched out ahead of the bars to allow good visibility. I've seen a few things on amazon and on one site:

It looks ok, but the lugs that keep the phone in look huge, was after something a bit neater looking. Anybody got such a device they can recommend?

Cheers

With a design like that I think you'd want huge lugs to give some security. I've used a Quad Lock with my iPhone for my big rides. It's a bit expensive for what it is but it's a clean solution and certainly feels secure. The case is relatively slimline too. If they make one to fit your phone then I'd give that a try.

I've been using one of these (although the bigger one) for a couple of years on the MTB and the road bike. Good quality, fairly secure, waterproof and a decent price.

Another vote for the Quadlock. Managed to get the full Iphone 5s kit from Evans for less than £30 the other week and been very impressed with it.

Another vote for the Quadlock. I only wish my fingerprint would be recognized when it is sweating.

Quadlock here too. In fact, I keep the case on my iPhone full time and have a bracket on both bikes. So easy use...

I use a quadlock too.

Very good and, as above, I just keep the case on my phone full time.

Last time I checked, they only offered iPhone cases though. They do do a 'stick on' lock that you can attach to another case, but personally I'm not sure how much I'd trust it.

I did just come across this - http://www.cyclesurgery.com/rixen-smartphone-handl...

Don't know if it's any good, but thought you might be interested in finding out more.
