Is this some kind of high end marketing survey or did you miss it?

Anyway, I got the 45 minute aerobatic flight experience courtesy of Bamford Rose. Might take a neck brace with me biggrin

I was out-bid on the V12 coffee table which is probably a good thing as I would have been in so much trouble if I'd got home and announced I'd spent a grand on that.

I missed it Pete but I do prefer the high end marketing survey description , just being curious being truthful.

I won the professional photographs of your Aston. Didn't realise at the time that it meant I'd be able to park up in front of the house at the end. What an experience especially as I was sitting in my V12V waiting for a GT12 Roadster, two One-77s, a Vulcan and a DB10 and of course Ed standing right in the middle, to move out the bloody way....! biggrin

Still the most surreal thing was giving way to a DB10 while in my Aston...never gonna forget that...

I (sorry I mean my kids) got the spectre scalextrix set smile

I think virtually everything went to people on this forum from memory. If you go to the just giving site you can both make a donation and see who paid what for most of the lots

You did well there, Steve the photographer and Ed were both at pains to try and make us bidders understand that it was a personal photo shoot of your car. Some people thought that they would be buying a photo of someone else's car!

As you carried on bidding, I presume it was your two boys killing themselves with laughter. Had you lost a bet with them?
Also, did you get Andy Palmer to sign it?

I got the Sports Cats for my v8v. I was in the strange position of bidding against myself! I managed to outbid myself a couple of times. Ed is a very good auctioneer! smile

I remember that. He got you to up your own bid! I had to laugh. On the same note though, i had given away a day of my time in the auction, but Ed somehow managed to get me to up it to 2 days while people were bidding on it! Sneaky, but its all for charity lol. It would have to be in north yorkshire though....

Could have been worse Paddy. If I'd won the lot you would have had to travel all the way down to Devon hehe mind you I would have made sure there was lots of cake for you.

Good to meet you by the way!

I would've taken the mrs and made a holiday of it. Good to meet you and the mrs too. Didn't those bloody bugs like the flugplatz! I feel sorry for the person with the yellow car though, as i couldn't even use my cloths for all the bugs on it.
