I've been looking at the Tvr leader board again today
I'm really rather happy with my position on there as its mostly 500's and the like with big mods above me.

king gutted I didn't get into the 12's now Derek, I realise now how important it is 
Here's a secret,, I mis calculated my fuel use the week before so had 3/4 tank of 95 Ron in there, I mixed in some 99 but nowhere near enough so I didn't go WOT on the Saturday, even on Sunday it was still a mix of fuel so I was a bit ginger,,
That's the truth so I've got a 12.9 in there somewhere

Easy 12 in yours Alun. Just need a few tweaks and another day at the track.

Seeing the concentration and competitive spirit in your eyes on the line there Derek,,
It's funny how confidence makes such a difference,, I lost some and never seemed to concentrate from there on in,,
Gave up trying almost, it's only afterwards did I feel the time was actually any good!
I should have been buzzing about it instead of moaning to myself I couldn't get it right.
I need a job, maybe then I'll feel confident enough to have a good go at it

I'd be more than happy for you to do a time in mine, I could go home then,,,,,
I don't need to do this every week but I would like to get a true indication of the cars potential as its always in the back of my mind just how fast a time it can muster, Catted, long 38 mm trumpets etc it's fast for that configuration that's all I know.
At the end of the day there's loads of cars out there that are faster than mine but haven't posted a time on the drag strip so you can only go by the ones that have,,
12.7 would rock my world,,, do you think you could do it Derek ?

The 1/4 table is all I take notice of. Rolling road figures and timed runs on the speedo mean nothing to me really. 12.7 is do-able... maybe a pair of 888's or to borrow my MTs should do the trick. But I am also sure it could be squeezed out on street rubber. Yes with a bit more heat in the tyres I'm sure the power to weight would allow a flat out run,
I was revving it to much on the line and notice how you get that instant bite and not get spin there after,,
Mines not that fast so it should grip and do the same easily enough with some decent tyres, the torque then Bhp in your motor, proper roar stuff. I notice you hold then gain back on the Scooby high up the revs,, impressive or what.
It's actually fascinating when your up against another car, you clearly see where you or it is faster/slower where you gain and loose, it's an instant barometer as to where your engine really is at.

With nitrous on mine would put me in 9th with some seriously powered scoobsters. Happy with that.
As for Andy Forrest... that is just mental and shows what can be done with a lot of budget and development

Where have you been lol.I have used and abused nitrous for a years now. I ended up running 10.6 @ 129.7 with a 2 stage set up with 75 and 70 shots on what was a 330 bhp 4.6 at the time.
My new 5.0 has cost me a fortune and this year is to see how it gets on without the nitrous. I think its doing rather well
