Just my opinion but while expensive the ACT ones don't crack, match the ports and help the engine breath to deliver its proper potential, yes they cost a bit but no more issues with rusting, cracking they just sit there year after year being good, releasing more power and reliable.

You get what you pay for and I wouldn't go back to the originals which were badly designed and made.

All in my opinion of course.

If it's any help my ACT ones have been on for some time now without any issue. Expensive, but very good, no more cracking of the cast ones and released about another 18bhp on my car.

Some have had the ceramic coated to help with underbonnet heating.

Take one of your knackered ones, slice it length ways through the joints. Then, when you've picked yourself up off the floor, invest in a set of ACT ones - safe in the knowledge that you've done the right thing.

That is all.

Alternatively take your knackered manifolds to an experienced welder and you will get as good as new for a fraction of the price.

Believe me, it is worth saving that maintenance fund for when you really need it, because sometimes there are no cost effective alternatives.
