How would they deal with getting the car put through the OPC warranty ? Presumably you'd have to pay for that?
I was wondering the same. Presumably an OPC would also want it to be up to approved standard to be on their forecourt which may mean costs for partial respray etc. Do you have to agree to foot all this or is it the case that SOR is effectively sold as seen? Genuinely curious given 8% is cleary a much narrower spread/better potential price than you'd get if you just sell it to them for their own stock.Logically you should be OK at an OPC, I assume.....however, & I'm sure you have but just be very careful & check re SOR. There's a thread on here possibly in the Porsche section regarding someone who very nearly lost his Cayenne to a SOR 'scam'. I know of the chap in question and he's always come across as a decent & fair minded sort, so it shows we can all be caught......it made for sobering reading.

I'll try to dig it out. The guy in question is totally open about his mistakes but you can see how almost anyone could be caught. As you say worth a read as SOR does seem
like a reasonable compromise if you don't want tyre kickers at your home!
