Really Bad Day, Lotus v Saab93

Well it had to happen 22 years of incident free driving and a Saab93 decided to pull out on me tonight... I hit the rear off side quarter of the Saab with the front offside of the Lotus. The Lotus is in a right state now, front clam is no more, left most of it at the road side.

no injuries with either party which is good, hopfully my Lotus will be fine soon.

I feel fine I would like to thank Lotus, the car is tough.

B*gger, really bad luck :-( Still main thing is everyone is ok and no matter how much you love it, clean it, polish it, drive it, a car is still just a car and it can be replaced/repaired (I know it's easy for me to say that).

Still the inconvenience and grief that comes with any accident is still a right royal pain in the butt.

Here's to a speedy repair.

Taken from some of the recent winter wrecks from SELOC. Gutted for you mate, but these cars are actually built pretty damn strong.

Best news is you are ok and the car will either get repaired or you'll get a nice shiny new one. Chin up!

Sorry to hear it. Have they admitted full liability? Guessing that given the type of accident they are unlikely to be able to contest anyway.

The gutting thing will be if they can't repair or replace it in time for the summer.

It wasn't me!... Just sold the elise and have now got a Saab 9-3 Cab.... steer clear of all Saabs on corners, coz they don't go round them! lol
