These guys do some lovely work for many of the TVR specialists, they have patterns for all the seats so can make the covers and fit later.

I had my Tamora re-trimmed there.

With hindsight, I wish I had used someone else.

How long ago did you take your car there Chris, TVR Central now outsource the trimming to trimmers that work for Aston Martin and Bentley

2014 - TBH, I didn't have much complaint regarding the trimming.

Just read your post, very disappointing about some of the work.

Mine was done over a year ago with the seats done in March this year, very pleased with the result (and i'm very fussy) but I cannot comment on the longevity of the work..........

Mine looked great, trim-wise when it was first done. However, despite the car going back no less than three times to sort out a few problems, including the poor re-fitting of the windscreen (never has condensation/water enter the inside of the screen before this time), it really doesn't matter how good the re-trim is, as water from a badly re-fitted windscreen will ruin it:

I now need to get the upper dash re-trimmed again, which means the windscreen coming out and hopefully re-seated properly this time.

That would be the people I mentioned in my post above.

Thanks for your help. There trim work looks good, but Chris's experience with the windscreen has put me off completely

But that was Central TVR not the trim company.

Personally, I wouldn't be put off. I would speak to Adrian at Central, he's very pleasant to deal with and genuinely goes the extra mile..

As Andav says why not find out the company that TVR central uses for their trimming, then go to this trimming company direct without going through Central TVR, it may save you afew quid if TVR Central don't get discount for the amount of Trimming work they supply?

They generally only outsource 'tricky' bits (like the Daytona styling on the Sparcos in my Tuscan)
