I was commuting in this morning, by bike, so no notes or pictures, and I spotted a large number of classics between J1 & J2 of the M20, all heading coast-bound. Some sort of event going on?

From memory (this is like the Generation Game belt biggrin):

- Vitesse
- Cobra (possibly a real one)
- Couple of Griffiths
- Ferrari 400i
- Stag
- Couple of 911s
- Midget
- 60s Mustang
- something 3 wheeled, single wheel at rear, blue front like a bathtub? Occupants in crash helmets

Didn't he do well??

There was also a 911 GT3 which may or may not have been with them.

Any idea?

Yes I saw a few impact bumper 911's and an old Ferrari 328 as well, all on the M40.

Yes mentioned this yesterday in a different thread. It was also mentioned on Chris Evan's Breakfaast show, he didn't know either.
But I'm sure it will be the Le mans Classic. Great to see so many people using their Classics for serious touring.

Blimey, he's only been booted from Top Gear five minutes ago and seems to have forgotten his enthusiasm for cars smile

Oh wait a sec. he doesn't sell tickets for the Classic does he. That probably explains his ignorance.

Curious as to what the 3-wheeler was, done a bit of Googling and the nearest I can find is the T-Rex:

But whilst that's similar, this one looked older (may have just been the dreary blue paint) an I'm not sure it had the scoop over the top? But tub-shaped at the front like this. The T-Rex may also not pass muster as a classic!

Loads of them heading south towards Southampton yesterday afternoon on the A34.

Including a Morris Minor.

Le Mans? WTjollyF...??
