My policy is due for renewal in few weeks, my current insurance is with Classicline and coming out at £380 for year.

I have tried Footman & James and Lancaster with no success. I have 3points on my license, won't do more than 2k miles per year and car is garaged.

Car is fully original and standard. Any companies anyone could recommend would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I tried the main Porsche specialists (Loxton and Mannings) and they were crazy money for me. I don't need track day cover so I'm with Direct Line at half the price. I believe you need to watch out for windscreen replacement costs if you want a genuine Porsche part, however given the saving I made I can afford to pay for one myself this year and still be ahead.

Direct Line, also. They do a multi-car discount, which reduced the premium further, as the family car is with them.
However, many would want an agreed valuation, which some of the more specialised insurers would offer.

Classic line? I have my TVR and 911 with them. 3000m/yr, no NCD. <£750 for both

After much ringing around I recently found the PCGB scheme from Locktons to be the best for an agreed value policy on my 996TT. A good friend of mine has his 997TT insured with Direct Line which is much cheaper although not agreed value as I recall.
