Has anyone got a copy of the above book? I'm considering buying a copy, but wondered if there was much technical content (workshop manual style) if is it a narrative about the history and design instead?
I'd appreciate feedback if anyone has.
I've been a 911 owner for about 36 hours now. I'm sure something must need fixing.......

I've got it...it's the size of a telephone directory. The section on PDK is ten pages long....

Name a topic and I'll tell you how much detail it gives!

Just read your original post now. Book is 700 pages of which 50 pages are troubleshooting and 30 are on maintenance. Not for you I'd say.

thank you for the replies, esp. Cheib, for your honesty.
Bore scoring, IMS failure and dashboard rattles?? this is cheery, just like the tvr forum!

SO!;is there a handy workshop manual type book available?? can't believe everything has to go through OPC.

Can't really see who would write a book going into detail on bore scoring and IMS....you can find out the symptoms in many places (like PH) but there are not many Ed China's around who have the equipment or the know how to tackle a job like that themselves.
